Rossville

Rossville was an epic night of art and entertainment. Local Rossland artists got together and created a festival showcasing the many artists talents of the small mountain town. The event started up a week before the actually day of transformation from Rossland to Rossville with a three man flash mob – one slick, stabbed, xylophone playing crab (sometimes mistaken for a squid or chicken), a masked bear in a kimono rippin’ on the guitar, and Pete the Unicorn ran out ahead of Rossland’s Golden City days parade with their Rossville banner.

On Sunday the artists set up at 6:00pm around town, gorilla style, and performed or shared their art. The fire spinning finale started at 8:00pm, and it was followed by a psych out GRAND finale involving a traveling theatre piece that was improvised that morning which led the crowd to the after party with DJ Soulman and the Brothel Cats spinning sick beats.
